Robuschi: high vacuum blowers of choice

KingVAC Manager Shane Bartley said the Robuschi RB-DV was a CAPS recommendation because the blowers were the most durable and reliable in the harshest working conditions, delivered the highest consistent vacuum and had lower noise levels compared to similar performing brands.
“One of the many advantages of using a positive displacement vacuum blower on our trucks is the fact that it eliminates the need to carry large heavy cooling water tanks needed for liquid ring type pumps,” Bartley said.
“This eliminates almost all risk of over loading axles and falls within Australian Regulated axle loading standards while the vacuum performance remains unaffected by any change in air density.”
The Robuschi RB-DV blowers can reach vacuum levels up to 93 per cent (28 inches Hg) on a dead head without overheating because of its patented cooling air injection system.
It also features tri-lobe, low-pulse type rotors, double ended oil bath lubrication on both drive and non-drive end bearings and heavy duty bearings with L 100,000 life.
Six different models are available for flow rate from 200 to 10,000 m3/hr and all accessories including cooling air manifolds, inlet silencers, discharge silencers and a four-way valve are also available to make a complete system.
For specific truck vacuum applications, the variation TRB-DV model offers an RB-DV blower assembled with cooling air manifolds and inlet silencer inside an acoustic enclosure which can be easily installed under the truck body.
Maintenance is made easy due to front mounted sight glasses for a clear view of oil levels and easy access to draining and refilling lubricant.
